Having opened in 2006, the Ragged – as it is known to its many friends – has quickly become a local institution.

By day we are a popular brasserie, serving lunch seven days a week and brunch at weekends. Food is also served in the bar on selected evenings.

All our food is freshly prepared from the best local independent suppliers we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep: veg from Bishops greengrocers, meat from Peter Speight, fish from Chapmans of Sevenoaks.

As a freehouse we stock a great variety of wines, spirits and beers – including three ale hand pumps. Our beer also tends to be from nearby – including the Royal Tunbridge Wells Brewing Co. and the Longman Brewery. The Ragged is a proud supporter of the wider Pantiles Community as a sponsor and organiser of its varied season of markets, music and arts.
